California
California's November 3 general election as it appears on Monterey Park ballots: city races and measures, Assembly District 49, U.S. House District 28. Both cities also vote on: Los Angeles Community College District trustees, Sheriff and four Superior Court judgeships, two county charter amendments, Governor and the other statewide offices, 14 statewide propositions and 20 judicial retention questions. Contest order, headings, ballot designations and measure wording are copied from Los Angeles County's Interactive Sample Ballot data for Monterey Park addresses. A few edge precincts vote on contests that aren't included (City of Los Angeles Measure SC, El Rancho Unified Measure ED, a Water Replenishment District seat or a Montebello Unified trustee area). California has no U.S. Senate race in 2026. Party preferences are from the Secretary of State's certified list (Aug 27, 2026).
